Final Exam

Filed under: Final — hanisa at 12:27 am on Tuesday, June 5, 2007

This is going to be my last and final essay. And with that, I will try to make this essay less boring than my old ones. I’m going to talk about the affects of fear on individuals. I believe, even if you’re the strongest or bravest, you still have fear. I also believe that the smallest situations can cause fear, which then will stop someone from doing something. I also believe that fear can cause someone to be crazy/insane. Too prove this, I will explain it by giving and showing examples from Lord of The Flies, Anne Frank, and a movie I watched.

Firstly, I said that if you’re the strongest, it doesn’t mean you’re not afraid. I believe this is true because an example I remember from reading Lord of the Flies, Jack, was resembled as the strong and brave one, but when the night they thought they saw the beast, Jack was afraid. He told the other boys to kill the beast first, and joined in later when he knows that the beast was defeated. This prove that Jack is not as strong as people thought he was, and even if he did look strong and not afraid, but that night showed the viewers another side of Jack. The scared, terrified little boy, who needs others to protect him.  After that night, he had someone with him at all time, during haunting was the same; he would take tow three other boys with him. I cannot remember reading and part of the story when Jack was ever alone. Then I remembered when I was young and was afraid of nearly everything, I had always someone with me, and that is what Jack is doing, feeling scared and needing for protection. If he weren’t afraid he would be the one who killed the beast first. And would be haunting alone in the forest. Looks or personality shouldn’t be the only thing people should judge upon others.

Secondly, the smallest thing can cause fear. Yes, I believe this too. In Anne Frank, when Anne was in the concentration camp, she had to obey everything the Nazis told her to do, if not she’d be beaten up or killed.  Not only Anne feared them but the rest. And because of this great fear everyone has, they can’t stand up for themselves and fight for their rights. If they weren’t scared, they wouldn’t be in the concentration camp, but at home because someone had stand up for them, fight for their rights. But again, The Nazis knew they were afraid, the Jewish would do nothing that would not be acceptable of them. An individual, at this point cares for it self, and not the ones around them. They think that someone will stand up for them, and make this nightmare stop.
Watching the movie, the last scene where Anne’s sister Margot, died, the ladies, were stealing clothes shoes from her. They fear of dying before this war ends, so they take advantage from others. However, fear has taken control of them, for so long, that it’s too late to turn back and fix the situation.

And talking about fear taking control over someone, this leads to my third and last statement. I recently watched a scary movie about a girl who died. No one knows the cause of her death. Some said someone murdered her, but can’t find the murderer, and some said that she killed her self, but can’t find an explanation for it because she was always bright and cheerful. As I mentioned before that looks or personality shouldn’t be the only thing people should judge upon others, because in this situation, people didn’t believe her cause she’s smart. And probably making the whole thing up, and after her death, people couldn’t find out what caused it, cause she was always bright and happy.
The cause of why she died was that, she killed herself. The cause of that was fear. A Satan haunted her, no one believed her. The Satan haunted her night and day. She became insane, laughing and talking to her self. Then one night, fear has taken control over her, she killed her self. She wouldn’t have died if someone believed her, and helped her, instead of making up stupid conclusion that may not be true.

In conclusion, fear is the strongest emotion people could face, because it’s in all of us. There’s not one day that you could never fear of anything. Being happy and sad are different, there are days you’re happy and sad, but you will fear everyday, and it can be cause by big or small things, imagined or true.
Take me for instance; I get scared of the smallest things, such as not hanging in my homework. I get so scared if the teacher would scream at me or will call/ mail my parents about me. Then when they do, I fear that when I go home them will get mad at me. And when they do get mad at me, I feat what would be my punishment.
Fear can cause death, worse deaths then when your sad, because someone will know you’re sad, they will help you, but in far, they don’t know or wont believe you, and because of that, you die, without anyone helping you or who cared about you.
I’m not saying if this was true or not, but if someone feared of ghost, demons, and saw one, people should help them because many deaths are caused by fear, it is still going on right now, but many a bigger percentage of the whole have stopped believing in beast, demons, or there’s something inside of the darkness. Parents make little kids not believe in them, but they should encourage them that there is, just don’t be afraid of it.
This way, it will help their fear to overcome by them knowing that those demons are there, but they wont do anything to you, because you’re the one who will end up killing your strength and yourself

Seeing Through Different Lenses

Filed under: The Tempest — hanisa at 9:14 am on Wednesday, May 9, 2007

I choose Beauty and the Beast to look at the four different perspectives, which are gender, classes, and race and media. Beauty and the Beast is a about a beautiful girl, forced to come a live with the monstrous beast in the forest. And at the end the beast becomes a handsome man, and they live happily ever after.

Gender, if I look at this story from a boy’s perspective, I would think this is another one of those pathetic boring fairy tale about a beautiful girl, get trapped, and captured, betrayed by some evil beast or misunderstood creature. Then it turns out that the “evil” dies or the misunderstood creature becomes prince charming. Lastly they will of course, marry and live happily ever after. Classes matters a little in this story because, the characters in the story were all rich. Beauty and her family were somehow rich, but the beast was really rich. Someone wealthy reading or watching this would think that Beauty lived an ordinary live before she met the beast and after. However, if some not wealthy watched or read this, they would think that it’s truly wonderful to have a live like Beauty. And as a result, that would bring self-esteem down because they think they’re worthless, have nothing to be like her. Race, I think the beast represent a native because it leaves in the forest. This story was written a long time ago, so most probably the author was describing the beast as a native. The author described this beast same as other author to other stories. Like Shakespeare and Caliban, King Arthur and Morgana. The beast, caliban, and morgana, all represent the native because they all live in the forest, they are described not all dressed. Some of theses traits were used or still are using to describe the native. If someone from Asia, who does still live in the forest or doesn’t dress the way the others does, they would be offended by these comments. Media, Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, reminds me of the celebrities now. They are super skinny, perfect, drooled by guys, rich. How does this affect us? Well, because they are the so called “perfect, pretty girls”, all guys drool over them girls who love fair tales and believe that there are such things as happy endings of course starts believing in these kinds of things, and they would want to become just like them. However I think this is totally pathetic, because fairy tales don’t come true, it’s not real, there’s no such thing as prince charming, beasts or withes. The reality is, you either become super ugly or pretty, skinny or fat, rich or poor. And if you don’t like it, change it. It won’t be as good as a fairy tale, but at least you’re making it come true.

Edgar Alan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe was born in
Boston, Massachusetts, on January 19, 1809. Both of his parents were actors, and they both died before he was three, and was raised by John and Allan Frances in
Richmond, Virginia. Because John Allan was a wealthy tobacco exporter, he sent Poe to the best boarding schools and later to the
University of
Virginia, where Poe excelled academically. Just after 1 year, he had to leave the University because John refused to pay his gambling debts. In 1827, he moved to
Boston and enlisted in the United States Army. His first collection of poems, Tamerlane and other Poems, was published that year. In 1829, he published his second collection Al Aaraaf, Tamerlane, and Minor Poems. Those poems did not receive significant critical or public attention. Next his Army service, Poe, was admitted to the United States Military Academy, but once again, he was forced to leave because for lack of financial support.  He then moved to his aunt, Mrs. Maria Clemm and her daughter Virginia, in
Baltimore, Maryland.
Poe began to sell short stories to magazines and in 1835; he became the editor of the Southern Literary Messenger in
Richmond, where he brought his aunt and her daughter with him. He married
Virginia in 1836. Over the next ten years, Poe would edit a number of literary journals including the Burton’s Gentleman’s Magazine and Graham’s Magazine in Philadelphia and the Broadway Journal in
New York City. It was during these years that he established himself as a poet, a short-story writer, and an editor. He published some of his bet-known stories and poems. His best-known poems are, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Murders in the Rue Morgue, and The Raven. After
Virginia’s death from tuberculosis in 1847, Poe’s life-long struggle with depression and alcoholism worsened. He returned to Richmond in 1849 and the set out for an editing job in
Philadelphia. In October 3, 1849, he was found in a state of semi-consciousness. Poe died for days later of “acute congestion of the brain.”

Annabel Lee

It was many and many a year ago,

In a kingdom by the sea,

That a maiden there lived whom you may know

By the name of Annabel Lee;

And this maiden she lived with no other thought

Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,

In this kingdom by the sea:

But we loved with a love that was more than love–

I and my Annabel Lee;

With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven

Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,

In this kingdom by the sea,

A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling

My beautiful Annabel Lee;

So that her highborn kinsman came

And bore her away from me,

To shut her up in a sepulcher

In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,

Went envying her and me–

Yes!–that was the reason (as all men know,

In this kingdom by the sea)

That the wind came out of the cloud by night,

Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love

Of those who were older than we–

Of many far wiser than we–

And neither the angels in heaven above,

Nor the demons down under the sea,

Can ever dissever my soul from the soul

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee:

For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side

Of my darling–my darling–my life and my bride,

In her sepulcher there by the sea,

_____________________________________________________________________

I love the poem. I think he is trying to write a poem about his wife that died. I liked it how the beginning it’s all nice and his taking about how wonderful their love was. Then towards the end it stated to go into sad and at the end she’s dead. I think it’s really, really a sad poem.

_____________________________________________________________________

Why didn’t Poe use his real wife’s name instead of Annabel Lee?

Why did he write about he’s wife? And why must it be a sad one?

Why can’t it end happily?

Floods in Jakarta worsen

Filed under: Social Studies Block H — hanisa at 7:33 am on Monday, February 5, 2007

Yesterday, emergency supplies were shipped to the residents of
Indonesia. 20 people were killed and about 340,000 others are homeless. Diseases may spread among residents living in squalid conditions with limit access to clean drinking water. A doctor from the health ministry’s crisis centre said that diarrhoea and dysentery may break out, as well as illness spread by rats. Another cause of these deaths is drowning and electrocution. As a result the authorities have cut off electricity in many districts.

The flood is going to get worse.
Indonesia’s meteorological agency is forecasting rain for the next two weeks.

Teen Life

Filed under: Uncategorized — hanisa at 5:49 am on Wednesday, January 17, 2007

Hey (:I’m Hanisa, I’m 13 and I’m in grade 8. I live in an international community. I don’t play sports, though I took track last year, I’m not a sport person. I ♥LOVE♥ music. I play the violin, piano, guitar, and I sing. I pretty much listen to everything, but my favourite bands are Slipknot♥  Hinder, MCR♥ Coldply♥ Breaking Benjamine, ♥Koяи and many more I can’t think of right now. I love reading too. Three of my favourite authors are J.K Rowling, Malorie Blackman, and Stefan King. I like watching all types of movies, except romance, it can get boring. That’s enough about me (:

An issue that I think is interesting is how a teenage like us can be affected in many different ways by the media. For girls, it’s mostly the way we look. The media shows thin, skinny women. When we look into the mirror, we see ourselves fat and will have many different bad remarks. For example, my nose is too flat I need a nose job, or my hips are too big I need a liposuction or don’t eat at all. It becomes crazy when a girl is already thin, but thinks she’s fat. I find this very confusing because how can a person be already thin thinks she’s fat? I have a friend that has a friend that got anorexia at the age of twelve. My friend told me that she is anorexic because she thought she was fat, and that girls on TV are all thin. And if it’s not anorexia the media can affect teenagers with stereotype. People that are “cool/popular” are the ones with many friends, but it doesn’t necessarily means their nice. If we watch TV those are “cool/popular” are mean and perfect, I’m not sure how it’s like here in my school, I don’t really try to see people that way, but in my old school we did have these groups of geeks, popular, punks, etc. I was shocked actually, although they were totally different, they all get along with each other. You can see punks hanging with geeks; the media would show the exact opposite.

Anne Frank Project

Filed under: Anne Frank — hanisa at 4:36 am on Monday, January 15, 2007

Anne Frank Commercial- Blooms Taxonomy

For the project I used symbols and images like Anne Frank and her family, Miep, 9/11 bombing, holocaust, World War II, racism, yellow tulips with blood, and world suffering. The images time and were divided between black and white and colour. The black and white images represented images of World War II and the colour images represented the images of the time now. The music used was a song, sang by Sarah Brightman called Ave Maria. It is a slow and peaceful song.

The image like Anne Frank show the audience the good in her and the type of person she is. Her family’s guidance and influence and she is also the whole reason for the commercial. Miep is a symbol of courage and hope that she risked her life to help those in hiding for the years. She also gave them hope that they had someone who was still good during the war. The 9/11 bombing showed that there is still destruction and chaos in the world today but people should also look at the good that happened that day not only the bad. Holocaust represented the people that suffered because of the people that didn’t like their religion. World War II showed the destruction and cruelty of the people but also showed the good that happen like soldiers helping people. Racism to me showed similarity to the anti-religion at the time of the war. Why should people suffer because they believe in their religion at the same goes for people’s race? Yellow tulips with dripping blood showed the blood shed caused in
Holland but showing Anne in the same picture was a symbol of goodness and hope that would come out. World suffering was also another way of showing people that what was happening years ago is still happening now. The music gave a clam and sorrowful vibe. Towards the end of the song the sorrowful vibe was slowly changing to a hopeful and heavenly.

Each symbol has a different meaning and different powers, but if I had to choose one image I would choose the racism image because I think that racism has been around for a long time and no one is stopping it. I also feel that it might be the next biggest thing since the holocaust if no one stops it, Genocide. If I used a rock song I feel that commercial would have a whole different effect and people but yet again no effect because I feel it doesn’t flow together properly.

Making this film really help me understand more about World War II and also made me realize that the holocaust is happening now but starting from racism and genocide. It also helped me realize the good in people when the times are worst. Everybody thinks that 9/11 was a bad day but we should also think of the people that helped to find every person that day. They helped make those people’s day a hopeful day. If I had to grade myself on this project I would give myself an 85% out of 100%. I just feel that the commercial would have not been good enough for her. I feel that not only her but other survivors deserve more than a video made by a few 8 graders.

KnowledgeWe used the Nazi symbol to represent the World War II and the background of living life of Anne Frank. We also used the symbol of Jew because Anne Frank was Jew and the killing Jew and the holocaust was one of the important incidents of World War II and it is also related to the whole Anne Frank’s diary. We used the symbol of train because the train can represent many different varieties of meanings. The train can be categorized in the sound and the image. We can use the sound of train moving because trains were the main transportation during the World War II. We can also observe for the images of trains to represent the main transportation during those days. We used the image of yellow tulip with blood and the yellow tulip represents Holland and the blood represents that the
Holland has destroyed and the country is with full of blood. Our group also used an image of skulls because many people had died. And also an image of an almost dead young kid because during the World War II, many kid especially who are related to or are Jews had died because of typhus, food conflicts and etc. We used powerful songs instead of soft songs, which can describe the sadness of this event because we believe that the powerful songs can show the anger, panic, fear, horror, death and wars. We also made a Nazi symbol with blood on so it describes that the Nazis were terrible and were crazy about killing people especially people who are Jews.

Comprehension

In our short film, all the pictures, symbols, and sounds are related. The whole idea of this short film is Anne Frank but we are getting more into it and we are looking and researching stuff about World War II, holocaust, Jew, and the Nazi. The sound will be related to the images and symbols. For example, if we put a picture of Hitler in the movie, we will use the marching sound, so it makes more sense and it can help the audience understand better and more precisely. Besides marching sound, you can also use bombing sound, shooting sound, and Hitler’s speeches because those sounds are related to Hitler and they can describe him very well and they also show what kind of person Hitler is. We also used a picture of a child who is starving to death because in Anne Frank’s days, there were many children who were starving to death.

Application

For the sound, we used powerful music to represent the anger, fear and darkness, so it might make the audience scary and it will make the short film stronger and more sensational. Also the music can help the images for representing the anger, fear and the darkness. The symbols can teach audience what my group is trying to tell them or what we want to teach them. For example, if we show the Jew symbol to the audience, they will know that the short film would be related to the Jew. For pictures, they will be more specific than symbols and they will describe the symbol and what happened during the Anne Frank’s days. And the sound or music will be the back-up for the symbols and pictures.

Analysis

I think the most powerful symbol is the Jew symbol because this is what separated the Jews and Christians and this is what caused the war. For music, we are using the powerful music, so I think all the songs are as powerful as others. For images, the most powerful one will be the picture of Anne Frank because she is related to the Jew, the Nazi and all other symbols and pictures. She is a Jew and she was in the holocaust which was run by the Nazi. She helped us to understand more about the World War II and holocaust and she made us to get excited about the World War II and made us to get more into this historical event.

Synthesis

We made a short film that spreads Anne’s hopeful message of peace. We made a short film about important events or pictures that can describe the days during the World War II and Anne Frank’s days. We defeated or accomplished this aspect of Blooms Taxonomy by creating a short film.

Evaluation

Overall, we think that we did an excellent or a great job even though we only very little time to complete this gigantic project. We used the best of the best images, sounds, and symbols to describe the Anne Frank’s days and the events that were happening in her days. I think using powerful songs instead of soft songs is very creative because no one would think of using powerful songs in this sad event. And the yellow tulip with blood on it is also creative because it can represent the death of Holland but it can also describe
Holland by yellow tulip and blood/death with the blood on tulip. I also think that it’s creative by making a Nazi symbol with the blood on it so it represents how Nazis were. If we can give a grade ourselves, we would give A- ourselves because we put a lot of efforts in, tried our best and the short film we made is excellent.

ESLR’s

We chose Effective Communicator, Involved Citizens, and Academic Achiever because we thought we hit most of the points.

Effective communicator means to listen respectfully and ask questions to facilitate understanding and achieve insight, collaborate with others in appropriate learning situations to achieve group goals. In our own words, we listen to each other respectfully, ask questions, and disagreed respectfully to some of the ideas we didn’t like. We all worked quiet ok to complete this assignment together as a group. Examples that we were an effective communicator, is when we all had to choose something to do. One is to do the movie, another one is to do the ESLR’s and the last one is to do the Bloom’s Taxonomy. One wanted to do the same things as the other. Instead of shouting at each other, we listen to what we all have to say and compromise.

We were also an involved citizens. Involved citizen’s means to demonstrate responsibility in active decision-making, interact respectfully with people of diverse cultures, and demonstrate awareness and respect for the rights of others. In our own words, we all are from different culture and religion. Not only are we from different cultures, Anne is a Jew, and that’s different from all of us. We had to interact with her from her books, and we all did it respectfully. When someone from our group has something to say, we listen and discuss, not just don’t care, because all our team members have the rights to speak out their opinion and ideas. Examples that we were an involved citizens is when we were discussing about the whole project, what we wanted to do, what symbols we wanted, because believe it or not, some religion have different meanings for different symbols. Like the Nazis symbol, their symbols may symbolize war, death, but for the Hindu and Buddhist it means piece. So we had to choose what would be appropriate for everyone.

Academic Achiever means to demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, Access information from a variety of sources, and Demonstrate technological literacy and the use of technology as a tool for the efficient and creative completion of a project. In our own words, we worked together as a group and by ourselves. We work collaboratively during class times, and when we arrange time after school to do work together, and we work independently at home. We use a variety of sources, such as books, and internet. Our project is a movie, so we’re using technology as a tool for the efficient and creative completion for our project.

Aztecs Questions

Filed under: Social Studies Block H — hanisa at 6:48 am on Sunday, December 17, 2006

Team MembersAnthropologist- is a scientific study of the human behavior, and the physical, social, and cultural development.

Archeologist- someone who studies a tool, unknown or lost mystery, buildings, culture, religion of the past.
Economist-
an expert in the science of economics

Historian- a person who studies (and writes about) history

Linguist-A person who speaks several languages fluently.
Theologian-
the study of religion and religious belief, or a set of beliefs about a particular religion

Step 1:
Where did the Aztecs originally live? What prompted them to relocate? Where did they end up and why?

The Aztecs originally lived in Atzlan, somewhere in the North West Mexico. The Aztecs moved away from Atzlan because their chief was told by the god Huitzilopochtli to travel to a land where they would find a swampy lake with a cactus, eagle and snake. The place was called
Tenochtitlan after the chief.

Step 2:
The Aztecs ended up in the middle of a lake and built their new capital
Tenochtitlan. What were the pros and cons of settling in the middle of a lake? Describe the lay of the land.

Pros: it was a good place because they had soil, and a good place to grow crops, and fish easily.

Cons: the land was surrounded by snake, poisonous snakes.

The land: the land was a swampy because it was in the middle of the lake, and was surrounded by snakes. It was mostly a flat land with few mountains.

Step 3:
Which gods were worshiped? The pyramids were built for what purpose?

Few of the main gods that were worshipped are, Tezcatlipoca, Quetzacoatl, Tlaloc and Chalchiuhtlicue. They built pyramids to honor the sun god and to find the exact measure of time. The sun god was the Huitzilopochtli. He was the most important god.

Step 4: Social Order

Who are the different members of Aztec society? What are their roles? Choose an artifact that represents the social order of Aztec society.

Slaves, Commoners and Nobility were the three Aztecs society divided into.

Slaves:

Children with poor parents are sold as salves, yet, slaves can buy their freedom.

Commoners:

Commoners were given lifetime ownership of an area of land. The lowest group of commoners were not allowed to own property. They were tenant farmers, they just got to use the land and never be owners.

Nobility:

In Aztec society, warriors, priests, and the nobility were considered to be among the most respected in the Aztecan social hierarchy Because of the Aztecs’ emphasis on warfare, the warrior class was highly valued, and often warriors would volunteer for the most important Aztec sacrificial rituals.

Step5:The Aztecs have a spoken language. What was it called? Did they use any other forms of communication?

The Aztec spoke a language called Nahuatl, a language spoken by Indian tribes in western
North America. Pictographs were used to communicate through writing. Some of the pictographs represented sounds of syllables and others symbolized ideas and thoughts.

Step 6:
How did the Aztecs grow food and what was their main crop? Did they trade and with whom? Did they have a currency (money)? Find an image for your exhibit about making a living Aztec style.

The Aztecs grew corn, beans, avocados, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, chili peppers, squash, and many more. Their main crop was corn because it was used to make their main food, tlaxcalli, a thin cornmeal pancake.

A Letter To Anne & Reader’s

Filed under: Anne Frank — hanisa at 10:29 am on Thursday, November 30, 2006

Dear Anne,

You asked me these questions:

“I wonder whether you can tell me why it is important that people always try so hard to hide their real feelings. How is it that I always behave quite differently from what I should on other people’s company? Why do we trust on another so little? I know there must be a reason, but still I sometimes think it’s horrible that you find you can never really confide in people, even in those who are nearest to you”.

I think that people hide their real feelings, because if they did say something which is not, let say “cool”, no one will want to be with them. And because sometimes, if a person shows their real feelings, others might think that they are too arrogant or self-centered. Or maybe they believe that people might think that your feelings are wrong and that you should get your act together, because that’s not the right way to behave. And sometimes, it’s not a good thing to speak out, because you might end up hurting someone else’s feelings. I think that you behave quite differently from what you should on other people’s company, because you’re a positive person, and you’re very opened-minded. You have said that most of the time you keep your feelings or opinion to yourself, which balance your relationship with everyone. You share your feelings most of the time, which is good, because your being honest to the people around you. And talking about being honest, I’ll answer your last question. I personally think that we trust on another so little because, everyone lies, everyone does bad things. Even if those who are the nearest to you, because you’re afraid that they’ll break our trust, and it will hurt you more then someone else lying to you.

Hanisa

Dear Readers, What you just have read was a letter for Anne, it explains about sharing your feelings and honesty.

I’ve explain that, sometimes people don’t share their feelings because they’ll think that their feelings and thoughts are stupid, but I think is that it’s great to express your feelings. You just have to know to say it in an appropriate time, because sometimes you’ll might end up hurting some else’s feelings. Some people find it hard to trust someone, even if that someone that you’ve known all your life, because they make mistakes. However, the way I see it, I tell my friends nearly everything about my feelings and secrets, but not everything, because the secrets might slip out eventually. But if you trust your friend 100%, well that’s great; it’s hard to find someone who is completely honest with you.

So overall, express your feelings at an appropriate time, and the best for you to not have your friends break their lies, is if you keep some of your opinions or secrets to yourself.

 Dont Forget to Comment:)

Fragile Truth

Filed under: Short Poems — hanisa at 4:09 am on Tuesday, November 28, 2006

Seeing though these eyes,
Glazed over with pain and tears.
As I try too stay alive,
And fight myself with fear,
I wonder why I listened,
To something so fragile and mere.

I try too fix my feelings,
So lost and so gone,
Wondering why I couldn’t see,
What the truth really was.

I cant remember, what is love,
And how is it supposed too work,
My heart has lost too all but doves,
Who seem too only want too lurk.

I now walk the shadows,
So different and not seen,
Never venturing too the light

Where I have stopped longing too be.
No longer trusting a single soul,
For the fear of being hurt,
I walk this lonely road alone
And wait for the time I’m covered in dirt,
As only then I can truly forgive.
